Mystery shopping, also known as secret shopping is the practice of using anonymous shoppers to provide customer service feedback.
It is a fun and rewarding way to make extra money by visiting retail stores, apartments complexes, gas stations, hair salons, hotels, movie theaters, restaurants, banks, auto dealers, casinos, amusement parks, home builders, health clubs, optical providers and other establishments.
Mystery shopper reports are an invaluable tool in measuring customer satisfaction and experience, along with salesmanship, professionalism, compliance, closing skills, follow up, and much, much more.
As mystery shopper, you may be assigned to visit a business or even make a phone call, as if you are a sincere, potential customer looking for a particular service. While you are getting help from the associate(s), you are to evaluate the greeting and overall attitude of the business employees, and on certain shops asked to look at the location's appearance, etc.
Mystery Shopper checks are cut on the 15th of the month following when your shop was completed. (i.e. If you did the shop in April, a check will be cut for you on the 15th of May.) The checks are then proofed, processed, and sent out on the last business day of the month.
You must be 21 yrs of age or older to register as a mystery shopper with Bare Associates International.
Legitimate mystery shopping companies have never and will never make shoppers pay a fee in order to receive shops from our company. They cover all expenses incurred in locating, screening, training, and developing our Mystery Shoppers.
